Who is it for? – The coaches have identified 10 young players age range from 12 – 19 who we feel along with the cricket club will benefit from this programme.
Cost and Funding – We are budgeting the Programme will cost in the region of £1300. We have received a grant from W.C.B. for £500.
Monitoring – The players will be closely monitored during the season with one coach working with maximum of three of the players. This will include performance, training, playing, fitness and lifestyle.
Our committee have spent the winter very busy trying to secure new funds and are having some good success.
So far we have secured funds for new covers (The Community Foundation for Wiltshire and Swindon), new kitchen and BBQ equipment (Jack Lane Trust), financial support for the emerging player programme (WCB) and an ECB coaching bag (O2 It's Your Community).
Thanks to all the committe members that have worked hard on these and also many thanks to Sue for her great assistance. We are still working hard to try and secure more funding for other things to improve the club and facilities so please lend support where you can.
